True COGS: Purchase Order Cost

Shopify creates purchase orders but keeps Cost per item fixed when stock arrives. True COGS works with them. Before you buy, it fills quantities for the days you choose from recent sales, less stock on hand and on the way, at your last price from each supplier, in a file Shopify imports. Before stock lands, it checks each line against that price. On arrival, it writes your average or FIFO cost to Cost per item, plus any freight and duty you add. Each sale's profit uses that day's cost.
